Down Five-0

This is the official web-page of the Richmond Hill born band Down Five-0. They started in the September of 1998 in Spay's garage. The band consists of 4 members:

The Battle of The Bands Recap Story March 12th was a day to remember for the band. We played are first show at Alexander Mackenzie H.S. Coming off a bad rehearsal the day before, we were not going into the battle with a great deal of confidence in are selves. Knowing that there was no chance of are band winning the first prize, because all of the members have to go to the school to win, but 2 don't, we figured that was between O.P.A. and Sassing Mackenzie for 1st and 2nd.
Show time came for us, which felt like it took forever. After a not so impressive performance by Sassing Mackenzie we started feeling much better about are chances. We get up there and everything went are way. There was no stopping us, we were nailing everything. When we were done there was a big sign of relief. Then came one of the Favourites, O.P.A. I had no problem with them winning because the guitar player is my brother, I just hoped that this being there last show together, they would beat Sassing Mackenzie.
They were great and I knew that when they were done that they got first place. After about 10 minutes the judges came up with the winners. They first announced 4th place, we thought that would have been us but it was Sassing Mack. Then 3rd place some other band. Then came 2nd and after the other bands had been called I knew that we had 2nd place. And that's what we got, 2nd. I was so happy that we beat Sassing Mackenzie, it was even our first show and they had been playing together for about 3 years or so...
By the way O.P.A. Won.

Pictured above we have the best fucking hardcore band in Richmond Hill O.P.A. This is yet another band that kicked Sassing Mack's ass at the A.M.H.S. Battle Of The Bands.
